Terms of Service
Effective September 16, 2026
Nature of the service
Boonanza is an information and trip-planning platform for US boondocking and overlanding. We do not broker campsite bookings and we do not act as a land agent.
Your responsibilities
- Verify land access, fire restrictions, and local regulations yourself.
- Do not camp on private property without permission.
- Do not submit knowingly false, harmful, or illegal location data.
- Photos and text must not violate other people’s rights.
Land status
Any land-status or public-land indicators are hints only. They are not legal advice and not a guarantee of access.
Your content
By submitting content, you grant Boonanza a license to display it and operate the service. Data Pool licensing is separate, requires opt-in, and is described on the Data Pool page.
Disclaimers
Travel, weather, and remote country involve risk. Boonanza is provided as-is, without warranties of safety, accuracy, or completeness. To the fullest extent the law allows, Boonanza and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Privacy
How we handle account, trip, and payment data is in the Privacy Policy.
